For this final installment of the Walton County Comp Plan review, we are including recommendations about Infrastructure and Capital Improvements. These two items make sense to review together, because many infrastructure projects are also capital improvement projects due to their cost and funding structure.
In our recommendations for these two sections of the Comp Plan, we focus on ways to improve and maintain stormwater facilities and other county infrastructure. We also make recommendations for ways Walton County can plan for future capital expenditures, make best use of taxpayer funds, and ensure the long-term use of those investments.
