Whether you live on a farm in Paxton or a condo in Alys Beach, you know how important and unique are the beaches, coastal areas, preservation lands, springs, and forests of Walton County. These natural resources and beautiful places are important to the area’s economy and ecosystem. Many of you shared with us your love and appreciation for these special places, and your concerns about overdevelopment, access, and preservation of these areas.
In this update, we’re providing you an early look at two sections of the Walton County Comprehensive Plan (“Comp Plan”) recommendations for Coastal Areas and Conservation Areas.
